=================================================================================== 20,000 Leagues =================================================================================== Title : 20,000 Leagues aka: [BITCH]'s Dive Deeper :) Filename : ATLANTIS.bsp Author : Battle[BITCH] Email Address : BattleBITCH@BITCHclan.org Clan Homepage : http://BITCHclan.org Date of release : September 3, 1999 Description : Multiplayer - For DM or Lithium Good for anywhere from 2 to 10 players--maybe. ========================================================================================= STORY A military backed archeological team uncovers the remains of a lost city, dating back to the times before Christ, deep in the untouched waters of the Atlantic. Within the ancient structures they find artifacts that prove that we were not the only intelligent species to have ever graced the Earth. A beautiful red cone of immeasurable energy lies entombed surrounded by the rusted hulky bodies of the lone alien centurions left to guard it. All was fine during the first two days of the excavation... Until each man and woman began to feel strange urges and bouts of uncontrollable anger... Something was happening to them. Was it greed? The artifacts could be worth millions! Was it the deep pressures of the water above weighing down on them? Or was it... The cone? >>Comes with moving sharks and schools of fish :) AUTHOR's NOTE: Hint hint hint.... I LOVE FEEDBACK :) BattleBITCH@BITCHclan.org <---- lol ========================================================================================= THANKS TO: 1)id Software 2)[BITCH]Clan members for testing out my insane concoctions :) 3)The Ripper aka: Marty for testing it on his high CLQ ranking Server. 4)QUARK map editor. http://PlanetQuake.com/Quark 5)And all the little people who made this possible LOL 6)PRIMORDIAL SOUP(ENV GOD!!! Sorry I dunno who you are. Same with the ENV! Good work whoever you all are. 8)Gr3ed@hotmail.com at www.planetquake.com/qrally2 for the horsy :) **Almost ALL of my maps contain a mentioning of my clan's name. This should be expected... I love my clan and every member in it. My clan is the sole reason I even turn on Q2. So, if seeing the [BITCH] clan log's offends you... I'm sorry :( ========================================================================================= * Play Information * Game : Quake II File name : ATLANTIS.bsp Single Player : no. Cooperative : no. Deathmatch : Yes. New graphics : Yes. * Construction * Build Time : I can produce a map a day... So this one took just a few hours. Editors used : Quark Compilation : Sorry, I sleep while it compiles =( ============================================================================================ Platform used : P3-450MMX 128MB RAM Known Bugs : RAID?!?!?!?! lol (there was a problem with the sky textures because the creator of them accidentally made them 24bit... But I've included the fix in here. If you have the older version of this (you'll know because the sky will look like mushroom soup instead of the brilliant blue it should be, simply extract this zip over it ;) (PS: It's a self extractor) -------------------------------------------------------- * Loading information * - Click on the Zip/exe file and tell it what directory you have Q2 in. It will then auto-extract. - Start Quake2. - Pull down console, type "map ATLANTIS". Press enter. -Make sure your Q2 video options are set at "8-bit graphics NO!" in order to view this map as it was intended!!! :) hehe NOTE: I feed on feedback.. If you like my maps email me and lemme know :) The more feedback the more maps I'll make :) _________________________________________________________ VISIT http://www.BITCHclan.org sometime :P _________________________________________________________ * Copyright / Permissions * _Distribute it as you see fit. :) But please give credit where it is do and change nothing on this map.
